A little fish

Although I’m meant to be making a crochet oven glove as a present and a crochet throw for myself I got a little distracted the other day.  My friend Jane (Jane Colquhoun – extremely talented textile artist) had with her her book on Birds and Butterflies, so I promptly borrowed it and leant her in return my book on knitted and crochet flowers as she wanted to knit a daffodil.

I was taken with the goldfish so promptly crocheted one – took a whole evening but I’m pleased with the finished result.  Crochet in Louisa Harding Grace Hand Dyed, the yarn is a bit over the top for this project but the colours were just right and the yarn was a sample I had in the shop.
