Dog Walking – dog Walking recently

Yep its been raining yet again, but with the added gale force winds which make dog walking such a lovely experience.

The weather has been very much april showers with winds.  We get patches of sunshine followed by complete downpours of rain – Squally I think is the term for this.

Just when I’d put away my wellies and rain coat I had to get them out again  THIS IS JUNE where is the good weather.

This weather is good for somethings, we pass this fungus (I think it a fungus)  on one part of our walk through a dense covered path, in the last week it has grown from nothing to this below.  Sorry about the quality but I only had my Blackberry with me and  it was fairly dark on that part of the path.

You can just see how choppy the sea was due to the wind.

Any way the dog doesn’t care about any of this as long as he doesn’t get too wet.

Knitted and Crocheted Garden exhibition

There has been an exhibition going around the UK.  The exhibition is of garden scenes and flowers. It is a community project and as the exhibition has travelled around more pieces have been added. The work started life in Bournemouth and has grown and travelled widely. Information about the project is on this blog  http://bloomingmarvellous1.blogspot.co.uk/

The exhibition came to Durlston Castle this month, so  Jane Colquhoun and I spent thursday afternoon as guardians of the exhibition.  We met many of visitors and also some of the contributors.

The whole afternoon was very busy and we had a great time.

All my pictures are on Flickr, but here a few tasters.
